Downstate Biotech Incubator
Part of SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University
About
SUNY Downstate's Biotechnology Incubator offers modular wet lab/office suites of 400–1,200 sq. ft. across a three-floor building at 760 Parkside Avenue in Brooklyn's Biotechnology Park, purpose-built for early-stage life science startups with vacuum/gas lines, tissue-culture and fume-hood ductwork, emergency generator power, and 24/7 access. A companion facility, Tech @ 710, is a rare 13,000 sq. ft. commercial synthetic chemistry site with 26 fume hoods, an automated Womack storage carousel, and a walk-in fume hood with NowPack dispensing — an unusual asset for chemistry-driven startups in NYC. Tenants plug into the university's research core facilities, medical/scientific library, animal facilities, clinical trials, and student intern pipeline, with a graduation path to BioBAT at the Brooklyn Army Terminal for companies needing larger R&D or manufacturing space.
