ABI-LAB is a privately held, four-building bio-incubator and accelerator campus in Natick, MA (~137,000 rentable SF) offering move-in-ready private lab suites and office space to early-stage and scaling life science companies. The ACC Bioscience Incubator (ABI) is Austin Community College's ~9,500 sq ft wet lab incubator on the Highland Campus (the former Highland Mall), billed as Austin's only dedicated bioscience startup incubator. Founders lease benches in one of four shared labs — or one of two exclusively-leased 400 sq ft ISO 8 cleanrooms with gowning rooms and piped gas — and get access to roughly $1.6M in shared instrumentation including an Illumina MiSeq, AKTA Pure FPLC, Beckman Optima ultracentrifuge, BD Accuri C6 flow cytometer and QuantStudio 3 qPCR. Activation Capital runs the Bio+Tech Center, a life sciences incubator inside the 34-acre Virginia Bio+Technology Research Park directly adjacent to the VCU Medical Center in downtown Richmond. It offers wet lab/office suites, 22 private furnished offices, and a shared lab that can be booked by the day or month — unusually flexible terms for wet lab access. AgileLab is a shared wet chemistry co-working lab established in 2019 by the University of Oxford and ERDF, sited within Begbroke Science Park — the only science park wholly owned and managed by Oxford. Alamo BioCenter is a scientist-founded shared wet lab and coworking incubator in the heart of the San Antonio Medical Center district, offering turnkey space that scales from a single shared bench to private offices. Beyond bench space it bundles administrative support and a resource-partner network of scientific advisors, CPAs, business attorneys, HR/financial consultants and animal research facility connections, so founders can skip the build-out entirely. It also runs BioSpark, a biotech workforce and student training program, making it a hub for San Antonio's life science talent pipeline as well as its startups.
