Quick Labs
About
Quick Labs is a Leeds-based scientific incubator built around a pay-per-day model — founder Victoria Garcia describes the ambition as being "the Ryanair of lab space" — letting early-stage deeptech founders and freelance scientists run proof-of-concept work for £90/day with no long-term contract, deposit or notice period. The Holbeck site houses both a chemistry lab (fume hoods, IR spectrometer, viscometer, vacuum oven) and a bio lab (Class II biosafety cabinets, laminar flow, autoclave, sterile consumables), and equipment beyond what's in-house can be sourced or outsourced per project. Membership layers on incubator support: IP and patent guidance, grant writing, pitch/business-model feedback and investor introductions.

More Labs in UK

AgileLab Begbroke
UKAgileLab is a shared wet chemistry co-working lab established in 2019 by the University of Oxford and ERDF, sited within Begbroke Science Park — the only science park wholly owned and managed by Oxford. Tenants get a dedicated ~1.8m bench plus a desk and locker in an open-plan office, backed by an on-site lab technician, shared fume cupboards and instrumentation, and flexible low-cost terms designed for pre-startup researchers and newly formed SMEs. Its standout advantage is on-site access to Oxford's Materials Characterisation Service, Nano Fabrication Cleanroom and Prototyping Lab, plus innovation grant funding and Royal Society Entrepreneur-in-Residence business support.

Alderley Park
UKAlderley Park is the UK's largest single-site life science campus — 400 acres of parkland with over 1 million sq ft of lab and office space, 30 minutes from Manchester, home to 250+ businesses and ~4,000 members. Operated by Bruntwood SciTech, it offers a genuine growth ladder: a managed coworking lab with published bench pricing, serviced labs, and standalone leased labs from 300 to 52,000 sq ft including new-build options. Its standout draw is the depth of on-site scientific infrastructure — 24/7 walk-up 500MHz NMR, a Waters-partnered open-access LC-MS lab with mass-directed prep chromatography, and Biacore/AKTA/Typhoon platforms all on pay-as-you-go — plus CL2 biology and chemistry suites created through a £20m lab redevelopment.

Babraham Research Campus
UKBabraham Research Campus is a 430-acre life science campus outside Cambridge, home to 60+ companies, ~2,000 employees and ~300 academic researchers from the co-located Babraham Institute. It offers a genuine growth ladder under one landlord: LiveLabs shared co-working bench space on 3-month rolling memberships for pre-seed teams, scaling to ScaleLabs fitted wet lab suites from 600 sq ft up to nearly 14,000 sq ft. Its biggest differentiator for founders is subsidised access to the Babraham Institute's core facilities (flow cytometry, genomics/NGS, advanced imaging, bioinformatics) plus the Accelerate@Babraham venture programme.
