About
Discovery Park is a 220-acre science and technology campus in Sandwich, Kent — the former Pfizer R&D site — offering an unusually wide ladder of lab space, from a single CoLab bench to self-contained units and 150,000 sq ft of manufacturing-grade facilities. It is one of the few UK sites where a startup can scale from shared Cat-2 bench space through private Cat-2/Cat-3 labs, cleanrooms and a cGMP solid-dose clinical manufacturing facility without moving campus. Early-stage life science companies can qualify for up to 6 months of free CoLab bench space, with an on-site lab technician, mentoring and access to the Discovery Park Ventures investor fund.

It offers a genuine growth ladder under one landlord: LiveLabs shared co-working bench space on 3-month rolling memberships for pre-seed teams, scaling to ScaleLabs fitted wet lab suites from 600 sq ft up to nearly 14,000 sq ft.
