Activation Capital runs the Bio+Tech Center, a life sciences incubator inside the 34-acre Virginia Bio+Technology Research Park directly adjacent to the VCU Medical Center in downtown Richmond. It offers wet lab/office suites, 22 private furnished offices, and a shared lab that can be booked by the day or month — unusually flexible terms for wet lab access. A 2026 expansion into VCU's Bio+Tech One adds roughly 10,535 sq ft and 13 new wet labs including a cleanroom, more than doubling lab capacity, and residency comes bundled with accelerator programs, discounted VCU CORE facility access, and Richmond Enterprise Zone tax incentives.
