The Oregon Bioscience Incubator (OBI) is Oregon's first and only dedicated bioscience incubator, run by the nonprofit OTRADI since 2007. Its 29,000+ sq ft facility on Portland's South Waterfront — walking distance from OHSU — offers private BSL-2 wet lab and office space with a full suite of shared scientific equipment included at no additional cost. Beyond space, OBI is unusually service-heavy for its size: Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, a BioMentoring program, CEO roundtables and monthly workshops support a resident base that has grown from 6 to roughly 30 startups.
