The NJ Bioscience Center – Incubator at North Brunswick (formerly the Commercialization Center for Innovative Technologies) is a state-owned, NJEDA-operated biotech incubator offering 27 private "plug and play" wet labs — the most of any life sciences incubator in New Jersey — inside a ~46,000–50,000 sq. ft. building on a 50-acre research campus on Route 1 between Rutgers and Princeton. Labs run roughly 900–1,300 sq. ft. and come with chemistry or tissue culture hoods, backed by shared NMR, autoclave, glass wash, loading docks and reception. Graduating companies can move into the adjacent 33,000 sq. ft. Step-Out Labs (2,000–8,000 sq. ft. lab/office packages), and qualified startups may get up to 5 months free rent through the NJ Ignite program.
